Tall Grass Animal Rescue

PreviewAnimalsOmaha, NE

A foster-based rescue that pulls dogs and cats from overcrowded rural shelters and finds them homes, about 3,000 a year.

Live drives

A go-home kit for every dog and cat adopted this year: a leash, a bandana, a bowl and a tote, so the first night goes right.

Goal $54,000 · 3,000 go-home kits

We do not have a building. We have about 400 foster homes and a van that runs to rural shelters four days a week.

When a shelter is full, the animals we pull are the ones who would not have made it to Friday.
