Gulf Coast Rapid Response Network
Trained volunteer crews who arrive in the first week after a hurricane or flood to muck out homes for families who cannot pay a contractor.

The work
We are about 900 trained volunteers from churches, unions and colleges across four states.
After a flood, a house has a few days before mold makes it a teardown. Our crews pull out wet drywall and flooring for free, for families with no insurance or no way to wait for it.
