Priced as one real production order by Merch.com — decoration, tax, delivery and fulfillment all in the goal.

When a child is admitted, the first night is the hardest. Parents arrive with whatever they grabbed on the way out the door, and the kids arrive with nothing.

Each comfort kit is a soft fleece blanket with the floor's star logo, a pair of grippy hospital socks, a 48-page coloring book, a box of 24 crayons and a zip pouch to keep it all together, packed in a drawstring bag with the child's name written on the tag by our volunteers.

The nurses on the 6th floor told us they see about 24 new admissions a week through the winter. 400 kits covers every admission from November to the end of February.

Every $30 funds one kit, start to finish. We hand them out at the nurses' station on admission night.

How backing works

Every dollar becomes goods

This goal is a real production order, priced before the drive went live — the items above, with decoration, tax, delivery and fulfillment in the number. The goal is the order.

Funded means made

When the bar fills, production starts. Bright Harbor Children's Ward Friends never has to chase invoices or manage a vendor — the goods just arrive.

Every outcome counts

Land short of the goal and Bright Harbor Children's Ward Friends still gets merchandise scaled to what was raised. Sail past it and the extra becomes credit toward what they need next. Nothing raised here goes to waste.
